What does an Oak Belize door look like?

Our Belize internal doors have a simple but elegant design, with a larger centre panel made up of five narrow vertical panels. The groove pattern recreates the appearance of planks, making this door feel like a contemporary twist on the classic cottage style.

Our range of Belize internal doors are supplied by LPD doors, a company that prides itself on making high-quality doors at a reasonable price.

One of the ways they achieve this is by using a solid core construction method. This is where a solid oak veneer is attached to an engineered wood core. This creates a door that is strong, feels reassuringly solid and the engineered core provides excellent insulation for heat and sound.

The oak veneer on these oak Belize internal doors looks every bit as attractive as a solid oak door without the extravagant price tag.

Finish Options for an Oak Belize Door

If you're looking for an easy installation, our oak Belize internal doors are available fully finished. You can hang them as soon as they arrive, without worrying about having to modify them at all.

The fully finished doors come in a choice of colours. There is a traditional warm oak that has a more rustic charm, or a light grey for anyone seeking a more modern style. This light grey finish brings a contemporary feel to any room, but still keeps the natural grain pattern of an oak door.

But, if you want the flexibility of an unfinished door, our oak Belize internal doors are available unfinished as well. These doors will need staining, varnishing or waxing to keep them looking their best but that does allow you the freedom to create a darker colour to suit a specific interior.

An Internal Door That Fits

The oak Belize door is available in a range of sizes to fit standard doorframes. But, if your doorframe is a little off-kilter, Belize oak doors also have 10mm lippings on them. This means that the outer 10mm of the door is solid wood so you can shave it down to fit a smaller size or awkward shaped door frame.

The Safety of an Oak Fire Door

The oak Belize internal door is also available as a fire door.

This type of door is a slightly broader thickness than a standard door, at around 44mm thick. This construction means that it can withstand fire, smoke and flames for up to 30mins. This meets the standards outlined by the British Woodworking Federation for an FD30 rating.

With our Belize fire doors, you can still choose between an oak or light grey colour and pick the finish you need.

Our range of Belize internal doors are made by LPD doors, a company that is committed to using sustainable materials and processes. Wherever possible they use FSC certified timber, meaning it came from woodland which meets the good practice guidelines set out by the Foresty Stewardship Council (the FSC).
