Installation & Maintenance of your fire doors

Our moulded internal fire doors are supplied paint grade, so they need to be painted before fitting. Choose a colour to suit your room and complete your doors.

These doors should be installed in accordance with the fire certificate. Fire resistance is only when fitted in line with the manufacturer's guidelines, including intumescent strips. On the top edge of your fire door you'll find a label that indicates compliance with type testing under BS 476 Part 22. This label should not be removed or tampered with.

To ensure effective protection against fire spreading, your doors should be checked regularly and maintained properly. Fire doors should be replaced every 3-5 years.
