Product Description.

The simple, solid design of this door perfectly demonstrates why the Vancouver doors range is one of our most popular. The structured panel design is brilliantly stylish but simple enough to suit any home. Whether you need a contemporary door for a new build home, or you’re looking to bring a modern edge to a rustic interior, this door will fit right in.

If you need maximum light to flow between rooms, but also need the protection of a fire door, then The Vancouver Pattern 10 Oak Glazed Fire door could well be an option for you. These superbly finished, A Grade Internal Oak Fire doors have a large central pane of clear flat, fire-rated glass, and these Oak doors are styled in the LPD Doors Vancouver design, with 5 horizontally veneered panels, separated by V grooves, with the sides of the door being vertically veneered. These Oak Fire doors are designed, manufactured and tested to meet the latest in UK Building Regulations, being FD30 rated, which means that they will prevent the spread of fire between rooms for a minimum 30 minutes.

What is a fire door?

Fire Doors (FD30 fire rated doors) are doors which are suitable for use in homes or light commercial use. All Express Doors fire doors are 44mm thick and can prevent the passage of fire and smoke for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Local authorities recommend that fire doors be positioned between garages and kitchens and/or between kitchens and other rooms. They are also a necessity where risks of fire may be higher and to protect stairwells and hallways in commercial properties such as B&B's.
