Paint grade doors are a cost effective solution in a sheltered environment and light commercial use, as they can be easily decorated and added to fit your interior design scheme. The range of doors are manufactured from timber from sources compliant with FSC/PEFC. Some of the paint grade doors offered by Express Doors Direct also come as 35mm fire doors, like the 35mm Paint Grade Door by Jeld-Wen, as well as glazed fire door options like the GG01 with Georgian Wired Glass.

Fire doors are built with fire-resistance ratings which will allow them to provide protection for a specific period of time. A door that is rated FD30 (44mm) will withstand a fire for thirty minutes before burning through completely, whilst an FD60 door (54mm) will have double the time, for sixty minute protection.
