The Palermo oak door range is known for its horizontal panels with vertical detailing that offers a touch of contemporary class. The minimalist style and clean detailing are especially suited in apartments and modern homes.

As well as a range of standard size doors available, most of our oak doors have solid oak lippings so doors can be trimmed up to 12mm for even the trickiest of doorways.

What style of Palermo doors is available?

All of the internal doors in this range have the distinctive Palermo look whilst offering plenty of variety to choose from.

For those who prefer the look and feel of natural wood, we offer many internal oak doors with an engineered construction, such as the Oak Palermo original door. An engineered oak door means that it is built by bonding layers of wood to create a strong core. This is then topped with natural oak so it looks identical to a solid internal oak door. These are a fantastic option as they are not prone to warping like solid oak doors are so you can enjoy all the benefits of solid oak with none of the downsides.

If you want to make the most of the natural light in your home, we also have many glazed options in the Palermo internal oak door range, like the Palermo Light Grey with clear glazing. These doors are available with obscure glass too. 

For those looking for something slightly more daring for their internal door, we also have a range of bold internal door colour choices like the Palermo Dark Grey. These all come in a standard internal door size with a solid core. 

What finishes are available on the Palermo internal oak doors?

Our range of Palermo oak internal doors offers a variety of primed, pre finished, and finished internal oak doors.

• Pre finished doors are the most convenient option as they are ready to hang as soon as they arrive. Fully finished doors are available with natural oak, like our oak Palermo, or solid colour choices, like the Palermo dark grey with clear glass.
• Primed doors are perfect for those who want to add their own finishing touch to a door. Primed doors will come pre-primed and are ready for you to add your own final coat, such as the Palermo White door with obscure glass. This offers some additional convenience as you don't need to prepare the door for painting and prime it yourself. Although many customers are so impressed by the Express Doors priming they don't want to paint over it!
• Unfinished doors don't have any finish or priming added at all so they do take the most additional time but also offer you full control over the finish of your door. If you want to match your door to other woodwork in your home, an unfinished door may be the best choice for you, such as the Palermo Oak bi-fold internal doors.

Safety

Safety is an essential factor when choosing a door, and many of our Palermo doors are also available as an fd30 rated fire door. A door that has been rated as an FD30 rated fire door means that it is able to prevent the spread of fire for up to 30 minutes. A fire door is recommended between kitchens and other rooms, including garages.
