Product Description.

This stylish but simple Vancouver door is the perfect example of why this range is one of our most popular. The sturdy, structured 5-panel design of our Vancouver doors means they would any contemporary design scheme. Though they come in such a wide range of colour and finish options, they could fit just as easily into a traditional interior too.

This Vancouver Walnut Fire door comes manufactured to LPD Doors' normal high standards, with a high-quality satin finish, onto real walnut veneers. These 5 Panel doors, with Horizontal veneers on the centre panel, and vertical veneers on the outer edges gives this Walnut flush door some modern, contemporary character. Ideal in both traditional homes, but more widely seen in modern homes and apartments, these Walnut Fire doors will add style, class and value to any home improvement project. This fire door option is designed and tested to meet the latest in UK Building Regulations with its FD30 rating, preventing the spread of fire for a minimum 30 minutes in the event of a fire.

What is a fire door?

Fire Doors (FD30 fire rated doors) are doors which are suitable for use in homes or light commercial use. All Express Doors fire doors are 44mm thick and can prevent the passage of fire and smoke for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Local authorities recommend that fire doors be positioned between garages and kitchens and/or between kitchens and other rooms. They are also a necessity where risks of fire may be higher and to protect stairwells and hallways in commercial properties such as B&B's.
